Curriculum basics

• The essential core of our curriculum is the Bible. This is where God has spoken.

• The emphasis of the curriculum is application in mission. This is where God is at work within us.

We operate a modular curriculum enabling us to integrate our residential courses, extension classes and distance learning programme as it develops. This allows for the greatest flexibility for students whilst also providing a standard basis for assessment and awards.

The majority of modules offered are of a textual nature, leading to a fuller understanding of the message of the Bible. Understanding that the Bible is not simply a textbook, missional and devotional applications are made throughout.

We aim to deal with as much of the Biblical text as is possible. We also teach several introductory and general modules which help supplement the textual content of the courses. In keeping with our commitment to mission, a number of new practical modules are being developed as an important part of the curriculum.
