Course Options
The British Bible School offers a flexible programme of study leading to a number of internal exit awards. In addition to our two-year diploma of Applied Biblical Studies, we offer a one-year diploma and intermediate certificates for part-time students.
The total number of module-points to be attained in order to be awarded the two-year diploma has been set at 320, which would equate to at least 3,200 hours of study.
There are a number of introductory modules that are essential to progression and some core modules required for certain exit awards, but beyond that there is a good degree of latitude with regards to choice of modules and the order in which they are undertaken.
Awarded to full-time students who have
successfully completed the first year of
our Applied Biblical Studies
course. This may be built upon through
further full-time or part-time studies.
The one year course provides a good introduction to advanced Biblical studies, covers the Biblical historic timeline and helps develop good Bible study practice within the context of mission.

Awarded to full-time students who have
completed the second year of our
Applied Biblical Studies course.
This is currently the maximum award we
offer.
The second year of the two year course builds on the first year by examining the work of the Hebrew prophets, other Hebrew literature and the remainder of the New Testament letters.
During the second year of the two year course, students work on a special extended research paper on an agreed subject of their choice. This provides students with an opportunity to explore an area of particular interest whilst also enabling them to further develop their personal study skills.
